Mission
The Regional Controller supports the VP in charge of the region to optimize organization and to secure the execution of the plan to deliver expected short and mid term results. She/his is responsible for profitability analysis (product, project, pricing, mix, volume). She/His working in strong alignment with the Group Controller to deliver just in time daily update of the results of the month, sales margin analysis, estimation and ad hoc plan.
Job Description
She/his fully contributes to the profitability improvement within the region
- Challenge the different PJM during forecasting of the project costs and revenues (forecast exercise is done on monthly base)
- Review and validate all significant project/business cases, contracts, tenders in the region
She/his manage the overall financial network of the region
- Work in collaborative way with different department within the financial function (legal, Accounting, Consolidation, Treasury) to make sure properly information is shared across the organization
She/his support the production of financial statement in a timely and accurate manner
- Elaborate the pertinent and accurate and just in time reporting reflecting the true financial performance of the Region (revenues, SM, CM)
- Drive the Region performance trough monthly forecast (Project and Product sales, Standard margin, bad debts, absorptions PJM and Service department and evolution sales force costs), budget and strategic mid-term and long-term process
- Elaborate daily sales margin analysis to validate the margins of the regions and support local management to put in place corrective actions
She/his ensure the safeguarding of the financial assets of the region trough strict and organized implementation of financial Group procedures and processes and adequate internal controls
- Ensure Group controlling procedures and processes are applied in the region
Skills/ Experiences
- Business School or Accounting background in Big 4 company, including a nationally recognized professional accounting qualification
- 3 to 5 years experience.
- Very good synthesis skills and at ease dealing with complexity and high demanding environment
- Strong management and influential skills, able to deal with ambiguity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and arbitration abilities
- International mindset
- Strong integrity and ethics
